Ingredients for 4 personas:
- 1200 g ripe tomatoes
- 150 g extra virgin olive oil
- 20 g salt
- 40 g sugar
Optional for the hot soup:
- Black pepper
- 100 ml cream
Preparation:
- If you want to serve the soup cold:
- Clean the tomatoes and blend them with the rest of the ingredients on speed 10, 5 minutes.
- Serve the soup cold, optionally with a pinch of pesto.
- If you want to serve the soup hot:
- Clean the tomatoes, cut them into quarters and press “pulse” 5 seconds.
- Add a drizzle of oil and select “soup”, 25 minutes.
- Once the programme has finished, season with salt, pepper and add the cream.
- Press “pulse” 5 seconds to mix the cream and serve the soup immediately.
Tips…
- You can accompany the cold soup with some prawns sautéed in olive oil and seasoned with a little salt and pepper.
