Chicken in beer sauce

Pollo a la cerveza

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 1 small onion
  • ½ green pepper
  • ½ red pepper
  • 80 g extra virgin olive oil
  • 100 g of crushed natural tomato
  • 2 garlic
  • 800 g of not too large cut up chicken thighs
  • Salt, pepper, spicy paprika
  • 250 g beer

Preparation:

  1. Place the peeled and quartered onion and peppers in the blender.
  2. Blend on speed 8, 5 seconds.
  3. Carefully place the blade guard on the blades.
  4. Add the olive oil and cook on speed 1, 120 degrees, 10 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken and the garlic, skin on and crushed.
  6. Season with the salt, pepper and paprika and cook on speed 0, 120 degrees, 7 minutes.
  7. Douse with the beer, remove the measuring cup plug from the lid. Place the steam basket on top so that the beer can evaporate and not splash you.
  8. Cook speed 0, 120 degrees, 25 minutes.
