Spanish Potato Salad

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 400 g carrots
  • 80gr Boby green beans (thin variety)
  • 80gr frozen peas
  • 180gr canned tuna
  • 300gr mayonnaise

Optional:

  • 80 g cooked beetroot

Preparation:

  1. Peel and wash the potato. Place it in the mixing jar, cut into quarters. Mash on speed 1, 30 seconds. Remove and place in the steamer basket.
  2. Repeat with the peeled carrot.
  3. Blanch the potato and carrot.
  4. Pour 500 ml of water into the jar.
  5. Remove the lid and place the steamer basket with the lid on top.
  6. Select “steam” 100 degrees, 20 minutes.
  7. Add the salted beans, without the ends and cut into wide slices.
  8. Select the same programme for 6 minutes.
  9. Add the salted peas.
  10. Continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  11. Check that the potatoes are very soft (they should almost fall apart).
  12. Remove from the steamer, taking care not to burn yourself with the steam, and leave to cool in the fridge.
  13. Mix the drained tuna, the mayonnaise and, optionally, the diced cooked beetroot.
