Ingredients for 4 people:
- 300 g pearl onion (dried)
- 25 g olive oil
- 25 g butter
- 1 l. chicken stock
- Fresh thyme
- 125 g artisan bread
- Salt, black pepper
Preparation:
- Place the peeled and quartered onion in the jar along with the oil and butter. Cook on speed 1, 120 degrees, 10 minutes.
- Drizzle with the stock, season with the thyme and select “soup”, 30 minutes.
- Add the bread, thickly sliced and toasted.
- Cook on speed 4, 90 degrees, 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve the soup hot.
Tips…
- Place the soup in ovenproof individual pots. Arrange 1 slice of bread on top. Sprinkle with cheese and bake au gratin just before serving.
