Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 250 g water
  • 300 g crumbled desalted codfish
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • 250 g of strong flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. Place the peeled garlic in the jar. Blend it, speed 4, 15 seconds.
  2. Pour the water into the jar
  3. Select “sauce”, speed 1, 80 degrees, 5 minutes.
  4. Add the cod.
  5. Repeat the programme, 10 minutes.
  6. Add the butter and select speed 4, 2 minutes.
  7. Add the parsley and blend, speed 7, 20 seconds.
  8. Stir in the flour. Select “pastry”, speed 3, 3 minutes.
  9. Season with salt and pepper.
  10. Leave the mixture to cool for 2 minutes uncovered.
  11. Select “pastry”, speed 3, 3 minutes.
  12. Add 1 egg through the nozzle.
  13. Repeat with the remaining eggs as they are incorporated into the batter.
  14. Remove the dough from the mixing jar.
  15. Fry small balls of dough in a deep pan with hot oil.
  16. Drain the fritters on absorbent paper.
