Ingredients for 4 people:
- 250 g cucumber
- Salt
- 1 garlic
- 30 g fresh mint
- Extra virgin olive oil
- White pepper
- 400 g of yogurt
Preparation:
- Peel the cucumber. Cut it in half and scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Add salt it and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Put the peeled garlic in the mixing jug next to the mint leaves.
- Crush with the “turbo” 2 seconds. Repeat the operation until they are completely chopped.
- Wash the cucumber and put it in the mixing jug. Crush at speed 4, 5 seconds.
- Season with the oil and pepper. Add salt and mix in the yogurt.
Tips…
- The Tatziki is ideal to accompany meats – chicken, pork, lamb -, either alone or inside a pita with lettuce and vegetables.
- You can also use the sauce to dress salads.
